Spaying Subsidization Under APSP's TNR Program 

1. STERILISATION SUBSIDY ON STRAY DOGS/CATS that allow you to spay/neuter an animal at a lower fee.

This subsidy is opened to the Feeders of stray animals / Low income Feeders / housewives / students who wish to neuter stray animals in their area to control homeless animal population in that particular area.

To get this subsidy, please write to us. We will provide you APSP Sterilisation Subsidy Pre-Application & Application Form. Email us with all information for us to take action. Include pictures of animals that are to be neutered.

Maximum subsidy for neutering stray cats / dogs :

Male cat RM 50.00
Female cat RM 80.00
Male dog RM 70.00
Female dog RM 110.00


We shall subsidize based on the availability of our funds.

We shall subsidize only upon agreement from the rescuer(s) that they will have no objection to do a “V” notch on the left ear of the strays.

All claims need to be submitted along with a photo of the stray indicating the “V” notch marking and the original copy of the receipt.

All application forms and receipts must reach us within 14 days of issued.

APSP has the right to cancel the subsidy immediately if proven there is a fraud or information provided by the applicant is found to be false.

2. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE are provided for rescued stray dogs/cats.

To get this subsidy, please write to us at mddb.mccp@gmail.com. We will provide you APSP Medical Subsidy Pre-Application & Application Form. Email us with all information for us to take action. Include pictures of animals that need the treatment.

a) No medical fee assistance for home pets.

b) Subsidies of the total medical bill depending on cases and the amount of fund available.

c) Rescuers should also play a role in providing financial aid to the rescued animals

d) Rescuers should be responsible to remove the animals after treatment and find new adopters for the rescued animals or monitor the animals at their community areas.

e) Rescuers should be responsible to look after the animals during the post-treatment until find new adopters.

f) We provide limited support costs of medical treatment to 'necessary medical treatment' only. Excludes grooming fees, and unnecessary boarding fee.

g) Kindly inform us if you also apply for financial assistance from other organizations.

j) Other NGOs (registered or not),Club Pages on Facebook & Fan Pages on Facebook who are able to procure donations on their own page by shouting out to their supporters & fans are NOT ALLOWED to apply for any subsidy from the APSP Medical Fund.
* Individuals who has also shouted out for donations on the pages of NGO/Club/Fan pages as mentioned above are also not qualified to receive any subsidy from the APSP Medical Fund.

** Individuals believed to have connections to the groups mentioned above ie. founder,admins,active volunteers) are also not qualified to receive any subsidy from the APSP Medical Fund.

We require you to provide your FULL NAME (as per your IC) when you apply for assistance.

Your request will be published verbatim on the blog. Please read our policies before sending in a request.

Each application will be considered on a case-by-case basis and depends on fund availability. We retain sole discretion to decide on the subsidy amount or not to subsidise (without need to provide reasons for such decision).

If you are going to or have already applied to other sources for funds, kindly disclose this fact in your communication with us and on the form. In such cases, the subsidy amount may be revised accordingly or we may not subsidise at all. Failure to disclose this fact amounts to dishonesty and you may be barred from receiving help from us.

The receipts and bank account must be in the applicant’s name. Our funds are only open to street animals (not pets) and only to needy and responsible INDIVIDUAL caregivers (not organisations/groups/shelters or their key members or those who have means to raise their own funds). If you are working with other individuals, please reveal the names of all the members of your group.
