Joey, one of our committed rescuer has recently rescued a cat which was believed to have been abused. The cat was in the worst of shape when Joey found him. One of his eyeballs has popped out and there was a big cut on his leg. He was also found with prolapsed rectum which was probably caused by hard stepping or pressing on the abdomen until the rectum falls out.
The cat has now been sent to Pava's Animal Clinic for treatment. Dr. Pava has stitched back the one injured eye though it's eye-sight could not be mended, the cut on it's leg and also the out fallen rectum.
According to Dr. Pava, the cat needs to be put under observation and unless he can evacuate/poo provided the rectum does not fall back out, the vet will suggest the cat to be put to sleep.
